Electrostatic Disinfectant Sprayer—Understanding the Technology
Delivering the Most Complete Disinfecting Coverage
When it comes to keeping surfaces, environments, and high-traffic areas germs and COVID-free, the electrostatic disinfectant sprayer has become a go-to solution. Electrostatic disinfection system is a proven, tried, and tested system that has been used in farming for decades. Amidst COVID-19, this technology is proving to be effective in killing Coronavirus.
These are no ordinary disinfectant sprayers used readily for household cleaning. These disinfectant sprayers are designed for performance. They are built ingeniously with technology that features electrically charged tips on the end of the sprayer to provide positive charge to droplets.

When the electrostatic sprayer disinfectant shoots out of the sprayer, the droplets are powered with positive electrical charges. As they are all positively charged, they repel each other, creating a fine mist. The positively charged disinfectant droplets are easily attracted by neutral or negatively charged surfaces, just like magnets.

When these opposite forces attract, they create a cover the surface completely, including the front, back and undersides, resulting in complete coverage and maximum protection from germs, including Coronavirus. Put simply, by the electric charges drawing them together, the spray covers its target completely and thoroughly. Rest assured, with an electrostatic disinfection system; you can easily and efficiently disinfect areas that are otherwise hard to reach.
Electrostatic disinfectant sprayers are extremely powerful and offer tons of benefits to both home and business owners. They provide the most reliable solution to keeping surfaces and areas disinfected and clean.
The power of this technology can be gauged by the fact that the force of electrostatic attraction is very strong, which allows it to reverse direction and move against gravity to coat hidden surfaces that are hard to reach. Moreover, as the particles repel each other, they don’t overlap, which provides 100 percent coverage.
Other amazing benefits of using electrostatic sprayers are that:
-
It takes less time and effort to disinfect large areas.
-
It controls, prevents, and minimizes the risk of spreading all types of bacteria and viruses such as influenza, COVID-19, MRSA, and others.
-
It offers tighter control over where the spray goes; thus, there is less wastage and minimal chances of overusing the disinfectant.
-
It creates an even layer, so there is no overlapping.
-
It dries out fast, so you don’t have to wipe it off. And do you know what does that means? It means that you don’t have to touch any surface once it is disinfected.
And with electrostatic disinfectant sprayers, your business can enjoy beyond the surface cleaning protection such as:
-
Decreased liability risk
-
Decreased workplace illness risk
-
Increased customer and employee trust level
The Power and Benefits of Using Electrostatic Disinfectant Sprayer
Our disinfection products include the following:
Sprayers and Foggers:
Electrostatic disinfectant sprayers: As our disinfection droplets exit the electrostatic sprayer, they are given a positive electrical charge. This charge repels the particles from each other, creating a fine mist, and gives them more attraction to all neutral surfaces that you are trying to disinfect. Just like magnets, they are drawn to surfaces that are negatively charged.
ULV disinfection sprayers/foggers: The ULV application process has been a well-established method in the agricultural industry for over 40 years. Fog machines were used to fumigate and as a process for insects and pests. ULV (ultra-low volume) fogging machines are used for the application of disinfectants, biocides, fungicides, and pesticides.
Sanitizers:

Disinfectants:
Certified Disinfectant Solutions & Hospital Grade Disinfectants: We supply disinfectants for both ready-to-use and just pour and use. Or we have a concentrated formula that you can dilute 1:128 or 1:116. These liquids are registered with the EPA and Health Canada or CDC, or just EPA or Health Canada or CDC. Please consult with us and we will guide you if you have any questions. Our disinfectants are registered to kill SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19 virus) in one minute, and some have a five-minute dwell time.
Wipes
Ready-to-use disinfectant cleaner wipes based on proprietary hydrogen peroxide (AHP) technology deliver fast, effective cleaning performance. EPA, FDA, and Health Canada (DIN# 02283530) Certified Against COVID Disinfects in 60 seconds.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Accessories:
PPE: Canadian Made Quality Disposable N95 respirator mask, with “Medical Grade” thickened four-layer design filters more than 95% of particles. Light-weight collapse-resistant shell. Disposable soft-lined masks for personal protection – latex and fibreglass free.
-
Children’s pleated three-layer design with ear-loop and adjustable nose-piece for convenience and comfort.

Electrostatic disinfection spraying delivers positively-charged droplets that are actively (magnetically) attracted to neutral or negatively-charged surfaces, including the back-sides, under-sides and crevices, regardless of the direction of spray for complete wrap-around disinfection coverage.

Electrostatic disinfection spraying is not a new technology. It has been around in the agricultural and manufacturing field for many years. It is recognized to be the best way to quickly apply and efficiently coat liquid disinfectants to any surface. Recently, commercial cleaning companies have begun using electrostatic sprayers as a disinfectant distribution method. With the COVID-19 virus effecting the globe, more companies are relying on electrostatic disinfection sprayer technology to ensure their workplaces are clean and sanitized, and their workforce and neighbors are protected.
Does electrostatic disinfecting kill Coronavirus?
Yes! Our disinfectant solutions kill 99.9% of harmful bacteria and viruses in less than one minute. They are effective on a broad range of pathogens, including: SARS-Cov-2, MERS-CoV, H1N1, H3N2, MRSA, E. coli, Eschirichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, Norovirus, cold/flu viruses, and more.

Our disinfectants are organic and safe to use. Bystanders can enter the room immediately after the product has been applied, with zero re-entry time. They are ideal for use in homes, offices, clinics, hotels, public transportation, and more.

What is the difference between cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting?

Cleaning is the removal of debris such as organic and inorganic material (often called “soil”) from objects and surfaces.
How does electrostatic disinfection work?

When our disinfection droplets exit the electrostatic sprayer, they are given a positive electrical charge.
What is a ULV (Ultra-Low Volume) fogging machine?

ULV fogging equipment is used for the application of disinfectants, biocides, fungicides, and pesticides.
What is the best disinfectant for me to use?

The best way to choose a disinfectant is to first evaluate what you are disinfecting. We offer free advise. All you need to do is contact us, we would be happy to help.
What is the difference between misting, fogging, spray/wipe, and electrostatic disinfecting?
ULV disinfectant sprayers/foggers come in different shapes and sizes, and each type is best for specific application environments. Please consult with us about which size and shape will work best for you. All of our ULV disinfectant sprayers/foggers are handheld. The smaller ones are better for smaller areas, such as restaurant tables, cars, buses, office cubicles etc. While the larger machines are more suited for areas like hockey rinks, offices, fire departments, police department, gyms, etc.

Sprayers, misters, and fogging machines deliver very small droplets in a micro-mist form that passively deposits on surfaces based on the direction of spray and the effect of gravity, which may on occasion result in uneven coverage.

Spray/wipe methods are also time consuming, labour-intensive and provide the least consistent coverage. They can also be a source of cross-contamination!
